বাংলাদেশের লোকগীতি বা লোকসঙ্গীত Folk Music of Bangladesh লোকগীতি বা লোকসংগীত এর উৎস হচ্ছে লোকমানস যা বংশপরম্পরায় বা যুগের পর যুগ ধরে মানুষের মুখে মুখে চলে আসে মানুষের স্মৃতি ও শ্রুতিকে ধারণ করে। প্রাচীনকালের যে নাথ গীতিকা ছিল তা থেকে শুরু হয় লোকসংগীত এবং বর্তমানে এটা ক্রমাগত বিবর্তনের মাধ্যমে বাউল মরমিয়া দেহতত্ত্ব গানের রচয়িতা নাম পাওয়া যায় যা ভনিতায় এর প্রমাণ মিলে। ভাটিয়ালি গান শুরুর দিকে ইন্ডিভিজুয়ালী বা একক ব্যক্তিকেন্দ্রিক কন্ঠে গাওয়া হলেও ক্রমে ক্রমে তা মানবসমাজে কোরাস হিসেবে একাধিক লোক গেয়ে থাকে। সংগীতের মধ্যে তিনটি বিষয় অন্তর্নিহিত থাকে সেগুলো হচ্ছে গীতি বাদ্য ও নৃত্য। এই হিসেবে লোকগীতি, লোকবাদ্য এবং লোকনৃত্য এই তিনটির মিলনে আমরা লোকসংগীত পাই। লোকসংগীত এর সবচেয়ে ভালো উদাহরণ হল বাউল সংগীত। কারণ বাউল সঙ্গীত এ রয়েছে গীত, বাদ্য এবং নৃত্য যা একই সঙ্গে পরিবেশিত হয়। বাংলাদেশের লোকসংগীত বৈচিত্রে ভরা। পল্লী গ্রামের শ্রমজীবী মানুষ এর সংস্কার গত চিন্তাভাবনা ধ্যান-ধারণা, বারো মাসে তেরো পার্বণ এর উৎসব, জীবন ও জগৎ সম্পর্কে কৌতূহল, বাংলার প্রাকৃতিক নিসর্গ শোভা, নদী বিধৌত অঞ্চল

Phrase and Clause in English Grammar Phrase and clause occupy the most important place in English grammar. We cannot think of a standard English without phrase and clause. Phrase and Clause is a part and parcel of a sentence and without which a sentence cannot be thought of. Clauses are said to be the centre point of sentences structure and which make the essential element of sentence without which a sentence cannot be made. Phrases add meaning to the sentence, strengthen the sentence. If we compare clauses to the pillars of a building, it is needless to say that phrases are like the bricks of the building. A phrase can usually reside in a clause but a clause cannot reside in a phrase. There are four main kinds of word formation: prefixes, suffixes, conversion and compounds. What are Prefixes Prefixes are the part of the word which we add  before the base or stem of  the word.
