 বাংলার ইতিহাস ইউরোপীয়দের আগমন ও বৃটিশ আমল বাংলায় ইউরোপীয়দের মধ্যে যাদের প্রথম আগমন ঘটে কারা হচ্ছেন পর্তুগিজ। ভারতের আসার জলপথ আবিষ্কৃত হয় ১৪৮৭ সালে। ১৪৮৭ সালে সর্বপ্রথম বার্থলোমিউ দিয়াজ উত্তমাশা অন্তরীপে পৌঁছেন এবং ১৪৯৮ সালে ভাস্কো দা গামা সেই পথ দিয়েই ভারতবর্ষে পৌঁছেন। ভাস্কো দা গামা ভারতের কালিকট বন্দরে আসেন। ভারতে আসতে তিনি আরব নাবিকদের সাহায্য নিয়েছিলেন। ইউরোপীয়দের মধ্যে যারা প্রথম ভারতে আসে ও ঘাঁটি স্থাপন করে তাদের মধ্যে ওলন্দাজরাই সর্বপ্রথম ১৫১৬ সালে ঘাঁটি স্থাপন করেন ডাচ বা নেদারল্যান্ডের অধিবাসীদের ওলন্দাজ বলে ডাকা হয়। ডেনমার্কের অধিবাসীদের দিনেমার বলা হয়।ইংলিশ ইস্ট ইন্ডিয়া কোম্পানি গঠিত হয় ১৬০০ সালে ইস্ট ইন্ডিয়া কোম্পানির উদ্দেশ্য ছিল এদেশে ব্যবসা করা। ভারত উপমহাদেশের বাংলায় ইংরেজদের প্রথম কুঠি স্থাপিত হয় সুরাটে ১৬০৮ সালে। কলকাতার ফোর্ট উইলিয়াম দূর্গ স্থাপন করা হয় ১৭০০ সালে। এ উপমহাদেশে ফরাসিরাই ইউরোপীয়দের মধ্যে সবার শেষে আসে এবং এদের আসার উদ্দেশ্য ছিল সাম্রাজ্যের স্থাপন করা। বাংলার প্রথম নবাব ছিলেন মুর্শিদকুলী খান। মুর্শিদকুলী খান বাংলার রাজধানী ঢাকা থেকে মুর্শিদাবাদ

There are four main kinds of word formation: prefixes, suffixes, conversion and compounds. What are Prefixes Prefixes are the part of the word which we add  before the base or stem of  the word. Multi means many or more than one What are Suffixes We add suffixes after the base or stem of a word. The main purpose of a suffix is to show what class of word it is (e.g. noun or adjective). Examples of  Suffixes: Mannerism, Marxism -ism and -dom are used  to make nouns Deployer, mentor -er and -or are used to make nouns to tell about people who do something.
