An Essay -  Country life and City life Country life and City life Introduction : William Cowper was a famous English poet. He once wrote, "God made the country and man made the town." This extract clearly makes a difference between a village and a city. The difference between country life and city life is worthy of attention. In the village we see the wide open sky above, the green fields, the beautiful flowers and flowing rivers and streams, and other things which God has made. But the town is the product of man's labour and it cuts us off from direct contact with nature. Advantages : Both country life and city life have their advantages. In rural life we see perfect peace.
