Load Shedding

Load shedding means the discontinuation of electricity supply. This supply fails because of the shortage of production or disturbance of electric distribution. Unplanned distribution also causes load shedding. Sometimes load shedding is done deliberately when the electric lines need to be mended. However, the load shedding creates manifold sufferings. It paralyses the production of mills and factories. Students cannot read and write because of it. During summer days, load shedding impedes normal work in offices. Children and aged persons are suffocated during hot weather because of load shedding. At night people are bound to kindle candles and kerosene lamps. The operations in hospitals and clinics come to a stand still. Foods get rotten in refrigerators. The economy of a country suffers greatly because of load shedding. Thieves and burglars get golden chance to implement their evil design. Thus load shedding has dire effects. It must be stopped immediately for the smooth continuation of life.
